Dave Higgs, founder of Premier Software, started out in 1990. He soon bought out the hardware start-up PC Technologies. The company then focused on hardware - mostly the sale of computers, printers, and small servers - but later got into networking and became an ISP as well. In the mid 1990's he also went into a joint venture called JPJ Computers. JPJ computers never really got off the ground and was eventually closed in 1998.
With the demise of JPJ Computers, which had largely taken over the hardware aspects of Premier Software, we started to focus very clearly on developing and fine-tuning our products. We gave the Point of sale packages a complete revamp, and also developed several applications for the construction industry, the medical industry, and the financial sector.
Premier Software has also had a proud association with several retainer-based clients; most notably Preferred Provider Optometrists, who have had us on retainer for nearly 15 years! An indication of our commitment and their contentment.
